Digital versions of famous neighborhoods in Rio will be part of the expansion of the Upland metaverse. As the metaverse reported, a total of 26,500 virtual plots will be incorporated into the metaverse. Most of them are in Barra da Tijuca, one of the most coveted neighborhoods in “real life”.
According to Upland, in addition to Recreio and Barra da Tijuca, the list also includes the neighborhoods of Andaraí, Grajaú, Joá and Itanhangá. The Upland metaverse already has 4 million followers worldwide. In addition, it has already registered approximately 8 million dollars in cash withdrawals by players in the last four years.
