As of Monday, the 7th, B3 (B3SA3) extends its opening hours to follow the end of daylight saving time in New York.
With this, trading hours in the spot and fractional market will close at 5:55 pm instead of 5 pm.
On the forward market, trading will take place from 10:00 am to 6:25 pm, and on the options market from 10:05 am to 5:55 pm.
According to B3, the time change occurs “so that the investor can follow the market’s operation without any gap involving the negotiations”.
In a letter dated September 29, B3 did not inform until when the new time grid will be adopted.
